OTT Content Consulting provide a wide range of commercial consulting services to companies in the Media, Sports, Telecommunications and Entertainment sectors, including content rights holders, OTT platforms, producers and distributors seeking to monetize their content assets and services. We work with all forms of OTT content and platform - SVOD, AVOD, TVOD and SLIN.
Our services include devising optimal business strategies based on market analysis and intelligence, benchmarking, competitor analysis and activities. We are experts in the selling and buying of all forms and genres of content, rights negotiation and deal management.
Based on our in depth analysis we then make robust Go to Market recommendations around content service propositions, packaging, pricing and marketing.
We have board room level experience of selling content of all genres in all formats into OTT service providers and platforms in LATAM, MENA, APAC, the U.S and EMEA as well as acquiring content for OTT platforms and advising on commercial terms.
Previous clients have included major media companies such as Emap Group and National Geographic, as well as a wide range of niche digital TV channels in most genre categories. We have also advised leading brands on how to to create their own branded multi platform video services including the world's first financial services digital TV channel.
Our OTT platform projects have included Proximus, Telekom Malaysia, Bharti Airtel, Orange, Saudi Telecom, e-Vision, Zain, Megafon, Vimplecom and others.
Our sole aim is to provide our clients with the commercial insight and understanding of best OTT practice to deliver a return on investment.
MANAGEMENT BIOGRAPHY Kevin Cochrane, Managing Director
Kevin founded OTT Content Consulting in January 2018 to leverage his 25 years experience and proven global commercial ability gained via board level roles in Sales, Marketing and Business Development. He has worked for and advised some of the world’s leading broadcasters, Pay TV and IPTV/OTT platforms as well as led Business Development for leading Video software firms.
Kevin has been involved in many Pay TV and Digital TV channel offerings and launches. He was formerly Head of Content Acquisition for CWC, then the UK's largest Cable TV company where he led the carriage deal negotiations with major content providers such as Sky, Disney, ITV, Channel 4 and Discovery. As Director of Content Acqusition and Platform for Etisalat he created and launched the e-Vision Digital TV platform in the UAE.
Kevin a regular speaker and attendee at OTT and Digital technology events and conferences.
He is the author of several White Papers and articles on a variety of topics e.g. 'How Sports OTT services can engage the Millennial audience', 'Mobile Advertising' and 'OTT challenges for Telcos'. Recently, he presentd at the 'Immersive Technology in Sports & Entertainment Innovation Summit' in May 2018 and he was a guest panellist on the IABM's 'New Media - Meet the Disruptors' event in July 2018.
Kevin holds a Joint Honours degree in Politics & Modern History from the University of Manchester, a Masters degree with distinction in Marketing Management from Southampton Solent University and an Advanced Management Diploma from Warwick University Business School. He also holds the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing's Advanced Marketing Diploma.
